The story of the Titanic is something that every person might have already heard of. It is actually one of the greatest legends of the sea. An enormous ship that was supposed to be unsinkable hit an iceberg, sank in the Atlantic Ocean, and brought more than a thousand people to their demise. To this day, all mysteries behind the famous sinking remain uncovered. Nonetheless, Titanic pictures and stories from survivors start to complete the puzzle piece by piece. Whether the Titanic broke in half before sinking or not was never proven until its remains were recovered in September of 1985. Today, expeditions are still being held and scientists are still doing researches. Artifacts from the wreck can also be visited in various museums. However, many scientists fear that the wrecks of the Titanic will be ruined due to the continuous recovery of artifacts and visits by tourists in submersibles.
