Pregnancy: Thank God We Are Done!

My wife and I are the luckiest people on the face of the earth, as we have two beautiful children, ages four and two. Personally, my wife and I would both consider having another child...if only we didn't have to go through the pregnancy! There isn't much fun for either party during the nine months, and in fact, it gets worse as the months go on - the belly bands and other maternitywear help somewhat, but my wife does suffer some severe backache while pregnant.
Not only does the woman feel terrible most of the time, but the man has to do ALL of the work! Don't get me wrong, the cause couldn't be better, but after awhile, you long for the days of 50/50 work around the house, cleaning, cooking, etc. Then there is the sex...or lack thereof! Both of us found that in the last trimester it just wasn't happening! And then of course the constant worrying: will the baby be born alright, how will we get to the hospital, will the weather be good when we go in labour, etc., etc. Again, neither of us would change anything right now at all. But pregnancy wasn't for us at all, although we couldn't be happier as parents, we are thrilled we no longer have to endure nine months of torture!
