Keeping My Daughter Distracted with Cupcake Decorating Class for Kids

Summer break is fast approaching and I still haven’t thought of a good activity that will keep my daughter busy once school is out. I don’t like her to just watch television or play computer games all day long. She firmly told me that she doesn’t want to enroll in any music class this time. Fortunately, one of my closest friends told me that her sister is starting a class on cupcake decorating for kids. I thought it was the perfect solution to my dilemma considering that my daughter likes helping me in the kitchen, so I am sure that this is something that she will enjoy. I plan on telling the moms of her other friends so that she will not only enjoy the classes but have wonderful company as well. I may sound like an amazing mom, but my reason is a bit selfish as well. I am going out of the country for a while on a business trip and I just don’t want her to resent me again for leaving her with a nanny. At least, if she’s busy, she may not get lonely.
