Importance of having a computer in your home

Computers are as important as furniture. When I was moving out of my parents house, since I did not have a television yet, I had to move with my computer. This is because with a tv card, then I would be able to watch anything that I wanted. Another thing is that without a DVD player, I could still be able to watch a movie via my computer. Another way I could watch movies and my favorite television series, was online via the internet using my computer. My computer was my main entertainment so when it came to the part of how to connect cpu with laptop, I had to do it correctly because my friends who had laptops constantly visit me and they usually have a good collection of movies. So most of the time we like having to watch the movies from their laptops via the computer. This is an easy process provided that one has all the required cables to establish a working connection. This is what I was planning to do before I saved enough to buy a home theater system.
