Being a boss is not just about the bossy feeling.

Bob was one day left in charge of their office when their boss left for a meeting outside town. It was on a Thursday, and the boss was not expected until Monday the following week. He felt quite bossy, although he droid not know what was awaiting him as the temporary boss in the office. One employee's cable developed a fault, and unlike his boss, Bob did not have any IT skills to fix the cable, and neither did the other staff members that were in the office. The employee was looking upon him for help, and there was nothing much he could do other than calling in a technician and parting with some of his money. He did not know that being a boss was quite taxing as many do, because he only concentrated on the bossy side of it. The cable problem was fixed immediately. When their boss got back the following week, he explained what had happened when the boss was away. The boss was very proud of him, although Bob was hurting within because of the much money he was forced to part with.
