Bsnl broadband is becoming more popular with its speed options. As with any company the options mean more expensive as you add things on. It is supposed to be unlimited use. There are all kinds of problems with broadband connections and speed. I recently was in India and had to find out how to connect bsnl broadband to laptop at the hotel I was staying. I had never heard of bsnl prior to going over to India for business. I was told that I could plug my laptop into the outlet in my room and I would be billed for the number of hours I was on. They told me the price was $1.00 an hour. I thought it sounded fair until I got on and my laptop was slower than molasses. I called the desk and they told me if I wanted a higher speed I would need to pay $2.00 an hour. Once again technology is burning a hole in my pocket. You can't tell me this hotel wasn't making big bucks off from hotel guests. They love to con Americans.

Moving House: On Packing, Moving and Rearranging

posted on 13 August 2010 in Construction and Industrial

Moving house is one of the most difficult tasks we have to face in our lives. I was sick of changing my house frequently, the whole deal of hiring a skip lorry, and organizing the move myself.

For those who live in cities, there are so many packers and movers who can do all this for you. There are three process involved in moving: packing, moving and unpacking. If we plan well, the first two processes can be done smoothly.

First of all we must take note of our things and calculate the packaging materials needed so that we could secure them to avoid last minute confusion. Then we have to hire a lorry or a truck to move it to the place we are shifting our gear to. The toughest part of it is in the unpacking of our furniture and items. Some objects like big sofas might not fit to the size of the new house. So we have to select our house big enough to accommodate all our things. Quite often this requires a lot of guess work and estimations, so be prepared that some items simply may not fit in your new property!

How Graffiti Divides My Town

posted on 13 August 2010 in Arts and Entertainment

In my experience, graffiti has been a hard topic to talk about in a good light among anyone who lives in the small Midwestern city of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Though I have never participated in the style of street graffiti, and have never wanted to as I think it ruins the beauty someone may have intended to create in the beginning, I have done graffiti for my friends, and for myself in my own home, and my personal here is Banksy. The style that graffiti provides can send vivid messages, hidden to the average city dweller. Some graffiti includes gang signs, and violence, but others provide a mural to look at, a remembrance of a lost friend, or family member. The graffiti that I have done has been anything from designing a room in a friend’s house to add some life to the room, to the mural side of the late Bob Marley. I enjoy painting, drawing, and spray painting, and graffiti is a great way to express this. It is not the traditional look of paintings in the home that are clean cut and "pretty", but they provide depth to a room or wall, and provide a story when they are though out, and have a lot of hard work and dedication put into them.

Some Primer Tips on Becoming a Fashionable Woman

posted on 12 August 2010 in Fashion

Women can become fashionable in two ways. One is by their physical appearance - using anything from sexy lingerie to lipstick to high-heels as "dress to impress" tactics - and the other is by their way of speaking and behaviors. There is a saying “Clothes make a man perfect”. Make you look fashionable by identifying the shape of your body and choosing the clothes accordingly. While choosing clothing, the color of the cloth also matters. Some colors suit you well and make you glow. So, choose the color that make you look bright and avoid the colors that make you look drained. Wearing the same kinds of clothing may bore you. So, try some new things once in a while. The important fashion items are handbags. These handbags have become an essential one for the women, as you can keep all the necessary items inside. Handbag manufacturers have been crushing their brain to bring varieties that attract women. There are also other fashion items like jewels, slippers, ear rings and so on. Choosing the right one will make you look modern.
